This sport as a whole.

i dont push in bowls unless i need to get a fast extra boost to jump things but thats hardly ever i mostly pump.
And i dont have bad style either, so pushing mongo has no effect on my style.

There is no such thing as 'bad style'. It just depends on who likes it and who doesn't. No style is bad, just different.

trust me theres bad style just like there's ugly looking people. Lol, thats just how it is sure everyone likes different types but you can tell if you someones style is just horrible.

So you're gonna take the easy way out and not rise to the challenge. For me, it was natural, too, like bs grinds are natural for most people and easier. That's why fs grinds are more respected, because they're more difficult and unnatural. And pushing mongo is such an easy thing to fix; I did it in less than a week after a year of riding. If you don't fix it, it just shows that you aren't willing to spend the teeniest bit of effort in order to make your riding that much better.

ive been riding and pushing mongo for 4 years. its not gonna be easy to change, and i just dont want to. i dont care if my riding pleases you, i ride to have fun, i dont care about style or anything, i care about riding.

Nick don't try to get mongo accepted as the better pushing style when it is not even recognised as equal with regular. I know all rob said and he has a point about mongo but scootering isn't going to be accepted we think its better to push mongo, tbh i think you are just saying that because you are too lazy too change, regular is much more controlled and takes less effort, and i push mongo naturally

double post but,
kid do you seriously have to fucking follow me around in EVERY SINGLE THREAD i post in? and give me shit for my post? its not easy to switch when ive been doing it for 4 years, ive been skating for 6 years too and ive always pushed mongo, so that makes it harder. i dont push mongo riding flat, but when i have to go fast or something pushing regular, it hurts my leg/bottom of my feet. so dont call me lazy just because i CANT do it and just plain dont want to. i dont like where scooterings going, i want it back how it was 2 years ago, but you probably wouldnt know, so stop giving me shit. i started scootering when it was fun, everyone was friends, and noone cared how/what you rode, so shut the fuck up and get off this site if all you're gonna do is give people shit.

you just made yourself look like an idiot. mongo is pushing with your front foot, normally people use the back, that being said NO ONE would notice the difference if no one made such a big deal about it. its the same shit. lets not bring over all the skater nitpicks and be BETTER than them. if someone is going to talk shit about someone because of the way they push, they're dumbasses and we dont need their respect.

stop caring about how people push and you'll stop noticing. im tired of seeing this shit. its pathetic.

Hahahaha now you have nothing to say so you just just come up with that, cool.
I really don't care atleast what I say is true, I'm not just whining like you telling people to get out of threads when I've done nothing.

This whole page above me mostly is what makes me have doubts in being apart of this community(locally and on the interwebs) because of how disrespectful we are to eachother. In BMX or skateboarding, there will be the odd dudes that will be assholes to the beginners or the uneducated at the park, but then there will always be those dudes that will go and teach the kid how to ollie or teach him park etiquette. I'm not saying we dont have riders like that in the community, I'm saying we need more since the majority of this sport is younger riders. What I'm saying has been said dozens of times over the years, and it's gotten us to this point so why ruin it now? Yes there will be those few assholes, but we need to be better then them and not be full on keyboard warriors just because we're on the web.

I think, that people focus too much on what tricks you should and shouldnt do, what clothes you should wear, etc. I kind of enjoy the variety that comes in watching different videos and seeing different styles. It makes it a lot less boring. If everyone rode like for exp the Friendly crew, videos would get boring and somewhat pointless. Videos are made to showcase ones own style and tricks. If everyone rode how one person wants them to ride, than it would be like watching the same video over and over again.

but what the friendly crew is doing is what is good if we actually want respect. go to any of your most hated street elitist's videos and count how many comments say, "hey, the way you shredded those spots i could have never imagined that on a scooter!" then compare them to all the shit talking comments. seriously, tilt 2012 comes up as a suggested video on tons of the skate videos i watch, so tons of skaters see it. if we ever want acceptance, scooter riders need to branch out to these riding styles and grow the respected portion of scooters. and for everyone out there who scooters for the idgaf reason, well thats just you and your own life. but there are too many people saying how they get so much shit for scootering. this could all progressively decline until the threshold is passed and scooters are looked upon just like any other sport. I know something i want is to have my child ride a scooter one day, so I'm going to try to get it to the point it needs to be for it to last long enough for his time and past it.

Wow. I completely disagree with most of this post. Let people ride the way they enjoy it, and who gives one if skaters dont like them.

I'm not quite sure what you're thinking on this one. Will you clarify please?
