my truck isnt a diesel so this has nothing to do with anything. if you think 24.8 mpg highway is shitty, then you better find yourself a shopping cart to put a briggs and straton lawn mower engine in. i got this truck to be able to haul fourwheeler, smaller cars, ect with and it will comfortablely do that. 2wd and 4wd are really only limited to the tread you have on your tires. the only time you would direly need 4wd is when you towing shit up hill on rocks or mud, ect. if were going to do that, i would just use my dads truck. for every purposes, 2wd is much more practical than and 4wd.
Thats funny. The only way you could possibly get close to 24 MPG is if you were coasting downhill, in neutral, with your truck off.
