Hi Guys, sorry had serious pc issues but all sorted now, had major downer on decks, tried to add an inch to deck as was 18.5" inch but instead of adding 25mm the factory that I was trying out for production added 2.5 inches so ended up with a test run of 10 scooters with 22" long decks! Look ok to be fair but not exactly sporty, wondering if there is a market for cruising scooters? They do long skateboards and surfboards so maybe it is an opportunity not a disaster? Have been back on to them and will be back on when have a date for some proper decks! Lol

Ive just been on one and it was sweet, got size 11 feet so bit of space issue sometimes (as im old too lol) but had loads of space so maybe potential to do the short trick scooters and long cruiser as well, cheers for feedback justin. You may get your wish, lol!

haha thats awesome bro id love to ride one cause some times on most decks i have no foot space and i hit my brake and flip over when i do a 180 so that would be sick, best of luck with your project

Cheers, appreciate the comments and I always think for everything a reason so maybe the mistake could lead to big things (literally 2 inches bigger things!) will keep you updated if we decide to do something with the long decks, have 10 so may be worth a go, who knows could be the next big thing!

I like the sound of having a longer deck cus i also have size 11 feet and it would be nicer to have thats extra space, ill test one for flat and street in the uk if theres still space for any more testers

Where did I say that? I said the parts on our pro model for £150 are better than you get on a £250 Madd Gear so you basically get our deck for free. It may be that when testing ours it is stronger or maybe it is not but I wouldn't say either way until tested back to back as that's just pointless and not making a scooter to make anyone look bad or to start arguments, we are just making scooters that are good quality and at good prices, thats it.

Cheers,

Joel.
Js, (not intended to suck Madds d***, just truth):

I dont think you could say that the parts you are using on your scoot would be better then the Nitro parts. Parts on the Nitro are all top of the range, as good as it comes.

The grips have been compared to ODI.
The decks havent been snapped.
The bars are basically the same as RADS.
The wheels have said to be better then Eagles.
Headsets have not had a problem and are still going like brand new on MGP Team riders Nitros.
The prototype forks were bent but the new ones are thicker and have not been broken... ect.

No argument intended, just saying..

Does it really matter Nitro? I know you are js (but it sound like in a harsh way)
Yes Madd is awesome and legit and same with LG scooters (joel)
We have someone making good quality products for a affordable price.
So lets applause joel for all the work he has done :)

Hi Folks, hope you are all cool, sorry for quiet few days been working hard on things, major headache! Got decks made by company for testing, without being too technical they were piss poor quality, have given them a blast and have been ok so far but to be honest finish is bad and more than they they feel flimsy which is rubbish, expecially after paying a lot of money to get things set up right, this week I have been taking design and prototype round the country to engineering companies to find one that can do what we want but good quality like we started with. Like I said they havent snapped or anything but just not happy to put our name on what we have now, which is very disapointing after so much time but need them right rather than rush to get them done in time to cash in on christmas (as some people not on here have suggested, which was rubbish anyway) so basically sorry for delay and will post as soon as can get quality right, also designing a cnc solid deck as may go this route if proves to be stronger but either way will be back on, like I said sorry for delay but want to get them right and not going to cut corners. There is a bright side! Our bars will be ready for sale in next 2 weeks they look great and are absolutely solid and as close to indestructable as you will get, also we are looking to sell them for £30 with equivalent style bars selling for £50. Also we know that alot of the branded bars are now made cheap in china ours are hand made in England (I know this as have been working on them in the factory) making our costs much higher but as we keep our profits down even with 5 times the production costs of some well known bars we can still sell them £20 cheaper (crazy world but totally true!) Also our forks will be ready within a couple of weeks too, these will be steel threaded forks to start with (aluminium cnc to come possibly) the forks have been tested and are very, very strong we are looking at having the el diablo devil face or possibly LG logo lazer etched onto them or even cutouts on the sides so they will look good. These are not going to be any fancy shapes just very honest, well built, strong forks, also hand made in England. The final price will be sorted in the next week as just working on final costs but I estimate that we should be able to sell them for about £20-25 so again compared to others I think they are a good price and should be pretty much bullet proof.
Sorry for such a long message but want to keep everyone up to date especially after being so quiet just so you know I am still here and still very much working on the project!
Thanks,
Joel.
