heres the deal...

put the starnut inside the steering column on the side where the clamp goes using a deep socket and hammer, like andrew said dont put it up too high or else the bolt wont reach it. also make sure that it is in there nice and snug.

next put the fork in the headtube and the steering column on the fork like you normally would on any other fork

then put the bolt in the fork through the hole in the bottom so it goes up into the forktube and up to the starnut.

then screw in the bolt and tighten down to your liking.

tighten the clamps on the bottom of your bars and your done!

remember that i didnt get an sr fork so im explaining it the best i can without it

Dude, installing that compressor is easier than locking a folding mech, trust me. If you can understand Eric's leet tutorial, then you're gonna be just fine, Jonny.

... how did you manage that? All you need is a hammer and a socket then you pound the star nut into your bars making sure it stays straight and doesn't go too deep. It is REALLY easy just search Google for "star nut installation" or something like that.

For those of you who's forks are still on the way and you don't understand how to do it PLEASE just take it to a BMX shop and they will do it for 5 bucks.

I over-tightened it.... it slipped and the star nut was useless.... so i tried getting it off and i stripped the threads on the bolt.... so at this point i was very pissed off that i just wasted that money so i cut the bolt in half, put my scooter back together, and had one of the best sesh's in months.

I'm going back to regular forks for the time being... Compression system IS needed if you plan on riding for more than an hour or 2 at a time without it slipping/getting loose/fucking up.

Anyone who gets these who gets them to work successfully share your tips/advice or something, I have a feeling i truly am an idiot.

BUT, the forks ARE AMAZING! Super strong, couldn't ask for more there, just dont like how im dumb with compression system.

Thats all.
