Everyday on my scooter is fun for me. Without it i'd be so damn bored. I don't know how someone could ride a scooter; not for fun?

oh well of course. but posting threads on SR isnt gonna change the face of scootering, so its whatever.
Neither will riding, more lil kids will want to steal your style after they'e seen you ride.

I got myself banned.
Deff agree. A lot of the kids today seem to ride for the camera and solely to impress people. When i happen to goto the park I just flow around and have fun riding clean. I admit, i used to be about trying to throw down huge tricks and be show off, but now I could care less what anyone else thinks of my riding. If i happen to pick up a new trick, sweet, ill film it, but I don't dedicate myself to trying to learn new tricks and go super huge to the point where im gonna hurt myself anymore.

One thing i hate is going to the park, doing a trick, but some little shitt goes and steps my trick up to be a show off. Get over yourself.

Finding new riders that appear to be having fun is like finding a needle in a haystack.

I noticed this so bad at Cooter Con. every rider who was a dick was under 18. no respect for any of us older guys who've been on SR since before they even picked up a scooter. I've always ridden how I like (just happens to be whip and bar combos), and no one is gonna change that. But yea anyway I had no desire to talk to quite a few of the little snotty kids who were throwing down huge tricks non stop.

And another thing i noticed, i got a LOT of shit for being a tech rider. although NONE of the people talking shit were my fellow OG's. all kids in the 16 and under category. GET OVER YOURSELVES!!!

there's my rant, i hate little kids haha

Personally I think that you need to get to a certain standard until you can just chill and just flow the park, i mean i want to learn as many tricks as i can atm, just so once i learn them i can just chill and have fun with them. I think that this applies for the noobs really cos i love to just ride the half pipe and just jump the box and stuff, but i think that you need to learn the basic like tailwhips, barspins 360's 180 and just the basic first. After you have learnt them then i think you can develop your style more, but yeah, thats just my opinion

Everyone rides for fun for fuck sake, why else would anyone ride a scooter? Whether people find it fun to huck tricks flyout or flow parks or do bigass street gaps they should be able to do whatever they want as long as they like doing it. I doubt there are many people on this site who only ride to show off, cause if they cared so much what other people thought then they'd probably be riding skateboards or bmx or something mainstream and accepted. Let kids do briflips and trendy tricks if it's what they enjoy doing.
It annoys me when I see people who are like 'I LIKE DOING ONE FOOTERS CAUSE I RIDE FOR FUN!!!' Everyone pisses about on scooters - no one is doing tricks all the time, it's just when people make videos/take pictures they do trendy tricks and impressive stuff because it's stupid and pointless to get a video of one footer trains which no one will care about.

Going big is the funnest for me, Taking a risk is way more fun than just flowing around imo.
