People always ask me.... "DO A TripPLe, dO a BrI!!!!111" And I say..... no. I don't do triples and I don't do bris. "WHyyY!?" Because they are both over rated stupid tricks that everyone does. They aren't even that hard and just have no style to them. I'd rather throw truckdrivers, whip to bars, and huge bartwists. Thats my style, and thats what I like to do. i think what most people dont realise is, the majority of the sport is younger riders, mainly under the age of 16. the thing is most younger people dont know any better than to copy tricks and there favourite riders style and they do all this for one reason, to try impress the older riders who inspire them, im pretty sure most riders think teh onlyw ay to impress the older riders in the sport is to copy there style of riding, say if you were a street rider, and you wanted to impress a bowl rider, you would try ride bowls.
this is whats happening and theres no way of stoping it, there will always be copieing in teh sport, if you look at bikes and skateboards, al you see younger skaters or bikers doing is the tricks they see done by there idols, now i doubt anyone can change that happening in this sport.
and the thing about riding for fun is, most kids find riding most fun when there proud of the tricks they do, and if tehy do a trick they saw there favourite rider do, they are sure to be proud of it.

That session in Walnut Creek when you came to California was literally one of the most fun sessions i've ever had. I'm sure it wasnt for you, but it sure as hell was for me. Not cuz i was learning new shit or anything. But you showed me how to flow my own park in a way i'd never seen before. and just fuck around and flow bowls and shitt. you made stuff from my park look so much more fun than they had been before.Dre said:

I ride to have fun because its something i love doing. Ridding for me has changed over the years but one thing has remained the same.. The fun. I don't ride to make the best video parts i don't ride to be the best i ride because i love it.
Most of the kids nowadays want to be known and recognized. Its taken me years to get "known" or "Recognized" esp because i have NEVER released a mini not one. I don't strive to release minis or anything of the sort i just love the feeling of ridding my scooter with friends and pushing our own personal limit to strive to be the best that we can be personally.
When you take away all the companies and the bullshit, You're left with just the ridding. What everything should be about. It doesn't matter who's the best. I say fuck the bullshit i'm seriously over it all. I love this shit too much

sooo... why are people fighting over there. people are just comming in and saying ''no no no! i ride for fun! im super cerial!" the fact is that the style these days are waacckk, because well theres no style. people just going staight for the qauters n doing some trick. i rather seeing some1 shredding a bowl threw n threw throwing down stezz here n there. just get creative its not a best trick compition.

I'm ssssssuper cereal guys. peasley your beast. anyways, another way I look at it is that in the good 'ol days the majority of riders and members on SR were "older" and now that the sport has grown and gained more popularity a new larger crowd has joined in.
Unfortunatley the majority of those new to the scooter scene are 1. Young as f.uck 2. Annoying as f.uck 3. Don't know Jarret Reid from the 12 year old they're argueing with in a thread. 4. don't have style, and are just F.UCKING ANNOYING and ANNOYING as F.UCK

I mean, I don't give a fuck about him being an admin... been far longer in this sport than him (and even on SR...), I was riding when he was only 10, and I simply can't stand such disrespect...
I know he doesn't even have a hand span of 26" wide, so him not being able to even grab both grips at the same time would probablly be the reason why he fins it disgusting, but that doesn't mean other people don't need/ride such bars with style...

i cant even do these half of these tricks the better riders do (mckeen,peasly,murphy,elmer jon etc.) wen i go to a skatepark i work on the trick i wana learn or i just hop around jump the boxes and hips and shit like that as a matter of fact i dont even do whips besides doubles (im learning them) for me this is funn.. and i dont even get to the park often so wen im outside my casa juss riding my curb w. my freind mike we have the best tyme ever... end of storyy goodbye
