How would you guys feel is the site closes registration and only accepts new members through applications? This would eliminate spam bots from joining the forum, and would also sort out the difference between who we want and don't want on this site.

**Don't get your hopes up. It is likely that this may not even happen. I just want to hear your opinions on the matter because I know that a bunch of forums do this... I will not hesitate to lock this thread if it turns into a mess.**

I think this is a great idea. It would really thin out the amount of kids that join the site and quit within two months.
You have to care to be willing to fill out an application to join the forum.
